- Inspect for tenant damage
- Look for signs of forced entry, theft or vandalism
- Check security of doors and windows
- Check for signs of pests/insects
- Look for signs of water damage
- Visual check for mold and mildew
- A/C and humidity monitoring
- Inspect freezer and refrigerator
- Check all faucets, run water in sink and flush commodes
- Check fuse/circuit breaker
- Make note of any unusual odors
- Visually inspect pool and/or hot tub area
- Check hot water heater for drainage
- Make sure all lights are turned off unless homeowner requests otherwise
